The well-known 2D obstacle course game Happy Wheels, which entered beta testing in late 2017 and was previously only available for iOS, is now also accessible on Android.
Given the enormous level of popularity that Happy Wheels has, which is largely down to the fact that numerous well-known YouTubers have long-running series focused on the game, it’s quite surprising that it’s taken so long for the game to arrive on Android. Over 1 billion people have played the game online alone to date.
However, it has now been released and seems to have included most of the same material as the iOS version of the game, with the notable exception of the level editor. You’ll have to navigate more than 60 levels while avoiding numerous dangers like spikes, mines, wrecking balls, and harpoons.
Additionally, there are a variety of characters to choose from, like Wheelchair Guy, who propels his wheelchair with a jet engine, and the Irresponsible Dad, who has carelessly secured his son to a seat on the back of his bike. The Effective Shopper and their electronic shopping cart are the newest addition to the Happy Wheels team, along with the Business Guy who commutes on a personal transporter.
If you’ve somehow managed to miss the internet sensation known as Happy Wheels, it’s basically a side-scrolling, ragdoll-physics obstacle course game. With limbs being chopped off, blood flying everywhere, and crushing, death is both prevalent and fairly graphic.
There have already been more than 10,000 downloads of the game on Google Play, but when more users learn that it is no longer in beta, you can anticipate a rapid increase in that number.
Happy Wheels is currently accessible on Google Play and the App Store. The game is available for free but features in-app purchases.
